Happy 25th birthday to us! As we reflect on the last 25 years, we would like to point out some of the key milestones in our journey.
In 1999, Amy Lawson set out to change the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) landscape by founding Prochant, a company that would eventually become a leading RCM provider in the home-based care industry.
In 2008, Mathew Mammen, a client at the time, recognized the potential of Amy's vision and the company's unique approach to RCM. In 2009, he joined the ownership team, bringing a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective. Mathew's entry also led to the establishment of Prochant India, expanding Prochant's global footprint and capabilities.
That same year, Prochant Pulse was born—a technology platform that would revolutionize how Prochant served our clients. This sophisticated tool allowed clients to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, improve productivity and drive better outcomes.
In 2010, Prochant partnered with Fastrack to introduce Fastrack Billing, expanding our service offerings and solidifying our position in the industry. Two years later, in 2012, we moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Chennai, India. This move provided a modern space for our growing team.
In 2015, we moved our headquarters to Charlotte, NC, signaling a new chapter. Then, in 2018, we saw the opening of our Trivandrum office, further expanding our global presence and capabilities.
Our commitment to innovation continued with the launch of Prochant Analytics in 2019. This powerful enhancement to Pulse provided our clients with deeper insights into their financial performance, helping them make data-driven decisions with full visibility. In 2020, we launched our infusion and specialty pharmacy division, expanding our expertise and offering comprehensive RCM solutions across different verticals.
2021 was a year of significant achievements. We were named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the first time – a testament to our rapid growth and success. We have remained on this list each year thereafter. Additionally, we achieved HITRUST CSF certification, underscoring our commitment to security and compliance in the healthcare industry. Finally, in 2023 we opened our office in Coimbatore, giving us global delivery centers in three locations, allowing us to further diversify our workforce and business continuity.
As we mark 25 years at Prochant, we reflect on our achievements and the challenges we have faced. Looking forward, we are committed to advancing what is possible in healthcare. 2024 will be another landmark year for Prochant, we’re excited to share more about this in a future announcement.
