In the ever-evolving landscape of revenue cycle management, staying ahead of the curve is crucial. At Prochant, we’re committed to ensuring our clients have the tools they need to optimize their accounts receivable processes. That’s why we’re excited to announce the latest AI-driven enhancements to Prochant Pulse as part of our AR Efficiency initiative, specifically designed to streamline invoicing workflows. These updates bring unprecedented efficiency by centralizing information, prioritizing high-value invoices, and integrating with APIs to automate invoice status retrieval. Our goal is to empower our clients with smarter, faster, and more effective invoicing solutions, ultimately improving cash flow and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Invoice Inbox
Our Invoice Inbox, one of the most leveraged features in Pulse Connect, centralizes all necessary information for handling open AR invoices and determining next steps. Previously, information on open AR invoices was in separate places, making the process time consuming and cumbersome and leading to delays in processing.
Now, this tool brings together claim statuses, notes and prioritization into one place and is enhanced with AI to help summarize notes for faster updates on invoice status, easier pre-call analysis, more organized work and better documentation. A more seamless, organized process will lead to improved performance and more efficient handling of open AR for higher success rates in resolving invoices.
High-Value Invoicing
One of the most impactful updates to Pulse is the introduction of the "High-Value Queue." This feature allows us to focus on the top 5% of patients based on the value of their associated invoices. In the past, our efforts were spread across all invoices, but now, we can prioritize these high-value patients to ensure that every dollar is collected more efficiently.
By assigning these patients to our team members, who will work on their cases until resolution, we can increase collections per month and reduce DSO. Additionally, we've introduced the ability to report on collections by the amount collected, not just by invoice count, allowing us to focus on maximizing revenue from each patient.
UHC Rollout
We’re also taking the first steps toward leveraging application programming interfaces (APIs) to automate invoice status retrieval, starting with UnitedHealthcare (UHC). Previously, obtaining invoice statuses required time-consuming phone calls or portal logins. With this new API integration, information, such as remark codes and denial reasons, is automatically pulled to Pulse, drastically reducing hold times and improving efficiency for our team. This feature can now be found in the Invoice section of Pulse for clients that have UHC.
We look forward to setting the standard for smarter, more efficient and more effective invoicing solutions that truly empower our clients.
